Cookbooks
There are lots of good cookbooks that provide information and recipes for cooking fresh, seasonal produce. Several of our favorites are:
- From Asparagus to Zucchini: A Guide to Farm-Fresh Seasonal Produce
by the Madison Area Community Supported Agriculture Coalition. 3rd Ed. 2004. Jones Books.
- Local Flavors: Cooking and Eating from America’s Farmers’ Markets
by Deborah Madison. 2002. Broadway Books.
- Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone
by Deborah Madison. 1997. Broadway Books. A fantastic cornucopia of tasty vegetarian recipes.
- The Art of Simple Food: Notes, Lessons, and Recipes from a Delicious Revolution
by Alice Waters. 2007. Clarkson Potter.
